 Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized and experienced LIMS Project Manager to lead and deliver LIMS implementations and upgrades across pharmaceutical or biotech environments. This role will require strong leadership, technical understanding of LIMS platforms (e.g., Lab Vantage, Sample Manager, Lab Ware), and the ability to manage cross-functional teams in regulated, GxP-compliant environments.

 Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end LIMS implementation or upgrade projects from planning through deployment.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, technical teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables aligned with client expectations.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation, risks, and project reporting.
• Oversee validation, change control, and regulatory documentation efforts.
• Facilitate requirement gathering sessions and ensure alignment between business and technical needs.
• Drive team collaboration and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

 Qualifications & Skills

• 6+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years focused on LIMS.
• Proven track record in managing projects involving LabVantage, LabWare, SampleManager, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical lab workflows and regulatory requirements (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
• Strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and vendor management skills.
• Experience with project tools like MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
